TMCF HOSTED OVER 600 STUDENTS FOR ITS 11TH ANNUAL LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE AND RECRUITMENT FAIR
WHOA carefully-selected group of over 600 students from the Thurgood Marshall College Fund’s 47-member schools traveled to New York for its 11th Annual Leadership Institute and Recruitment Fair.
WHAT
The Annual Leadership Institute and Recruitment Fair is the premier recruitment conference for public HBCU students. For the past decade, this four-day conference has given talented future leaders a unique professional development experience. Students are brought together to network and interact with some of the nation’s top executives for leadership training, career management, life skills, development and recruitment opportunities.
One of the main components of the Leadership Institute is the Recruitment Fair, where students meet with over 60 companies and government agencies offering job and internship opportunities.
Surveys, student case studies, and feedback from conference sponsors reveal that the Leadership Institute is having a tremendous impact on our students.
WHY
To prepare the nearly 300,000 students matriculating on TMCF’s 47-member school campuses to be more competitive professionals and become World Ready leaders in addition to giving them the opportunity to interview for top internship and job opportunities.
