To meet the need for more African-American professionals in Corporate America, TMCF and the Wachovia Foundation collaborated to establish the TMCF/Wachovia Scholarship to Leadership Program. Each scholarship recipient will receive an annual award of $5,000/year ($2,500/semester) and participate in TMCF's Annual Leadership Institute in New York, NY. During the Leadership Institute, all Wachovia scholars will meet with representative from Wachovia to discuss their experience as scholars. At the discretion of Wachovia, some scholars may be invited to intern with Wachovia over the summer.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be a citizen of the United States of America
  • Enrolled as a full-time student
  • Have a sophomore standing
  • Preference will be given to finance or business related majors, although all majors are encouraged to apply
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above

  • Current High School Transcript (Applicants may upload a copy of unofficial or official)
  • Essay declaring interest in a career in Corporate America
