For the past twelve years, this four-day conference has given talented future leaders a unique professional development experience. A carefully selected group of students are brought together with some of the nation's top executives for leadership training, career management, life skills, development and recruitment opportunities. One of the main components of the Leadership Institute is the Recruitment Fair, where students meet with over 60 companies and government agencies offering job and internship opportunities.

24th Anniversary Awards Dinner

Established in 1987, TMCF supports and represents nearly 300,000 students attending its 47 member-schools that include public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), medical schools and law schools.

Dress for Success is the second installment of the educational Thurgood Marshall College Fund Career Development DVD series, which provides an illustrated introduction on the subject of proper dressing attire in preparation for a job interview. This DVD picks up where TMCF leaves off in its annual training of over 600 students during its annual Leadership Institute held in New York City.

2009 Front Row Fashion Show

ONE OF THE BIGGEST NIGHTS IN THE BIG APPLE!! A three-time SOLD OUT event consisting of celebrities, CEO's, NYC socialites, fashion designers, models and many more! On Saturday, October 24, 2009, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) will present its 4th Annual Front Row Fashion Show: Celebrating the Spirit of Innovation in Fashion on at the Roseland Ballroom, New York City. Front Row, celebrates minority designers from the African American, Asian and Hispanic Communities. More than 2,000 attendees came out for this exciting showcase in 2008, which serves as the kickoff event for TMCF's Anniversary Weekend celebration.

In 2009, Front Row highlighted emerging and established designers, while paying tribute to trailblazers in the fashion industry with the 2009 Thurgood Marshall Fashion Icon Award. The Award salutes individuals who have influenced style and fashion within the African American community, and who embody the spirit of leadership and commitment to their craft. It is one of the highest recognitions presented annually to honor the legacy of the late Justice Thurgood Marshall.
